After releasing stuff on respected Netlabels like Bumpfoot, Poni Republic and Headphonica, Anton returns with a trippy and fun ride through IDM's history.
And holy Aphex beats, Batman! This kid has certainly done his IDM homework and knows his way around his old-school-equipment.
"Let's Go, I'm going" mixes Bogdan Raczynski's playful lo-fi-quirkiness with Aphex Twin's virtuosic sense for details.
Of course, the ingredients aren't exactly new: detuned synth pads, manic drum rolls, 8bit hooklines. But it's all mixed in an original and most fun way.
In all honesty: i love this stuff. This young american fellow is a musical genius. A braindance wunderkind. And he doesn't even know!

JDH is the electronic solo music project of Jonny Hughes, which was popularized by his covers EP from earlier this year. The EP boasted covers of songs by OMD, Grandaddy, Sufjan Stevens, Fugazi and Grown-Ups. His EP reached a wide audience through it's coverage by Exclaim and its hype from popular music blog Bolachas.
Arms Legs Feet is a record that was born out of near-death experiences and trials. It is Jonny Hughes' second album, which he has spent the last four years perfecting.
To say the least, Jonny has had his share of ups and downs trying to finish this album. since the beginning stages of making this record, he has broken both wrists from a twelve foot fall, survived cancer, moved to the city, moved away from the city, got his drivers' license, got married, and more recently, had a baby.
Honesty has always been one thing jonny appreciates in music, and his sincere lyrics add an odd yet endearing element to his electronic-based music. His songs feel almost timeless. Sonically, the record is full of heavy synth-basses, dreamy shoegaze guitars and hopeful synth leads.
In the last four years, Jonny has reinvented himself as a composer, singer and songwriter. He has plans for touring in the next couple years, and maintains the same Goonies-never-say-die attitude that got him this far.
The album was recorded and mixed at Jonny’s house and with Jon Anderson at Buena Vista Audio, in Langley, BC, from 2005-2009

Most of you will probably remember Werner's "Proximity" EP, one of Beatismurder Netlabel's critically most acclaimed releases ever.
This superhuman voice, that suddenly popped out of nowhere and seemingly disappeared again, and many people wondered where Werner has been hiding since the release of the EP named above.
Only seemingly, because Mr. Kitzmüller clendestinely and perpetually worked on his musical vision, that rather seems like a scheme to take over the world of pop culture:
Not only has he been playing a lot of shows, he also released a really amazing 7" record on Valeot Records and will finally release his first full-length album later this year.
What's more? Werner Kitzmüller met likeminded musicians, namely Alexandr Vatagin und David Schweighart (Tupolev, Slon, Port-Royal) and formed the soon-to-be famous Werner Kitzmüller Trio.
"Carla" is the voucher of how well these three people harmonize together. It's a recording of one of their infamous live shows. And it's also a sign of very big things to come: The "real" WKT album. Bring it on!

Miss Ueki are Bernd and Nils from Munich, Germany.
Miss Ueki collect ideas, snap shots, patterns, that eventually evolve into full grown lo-fi pop gems, from version 0.1 to 1.0 and beyond.
Lately, these evolutions led to a fully finished shiny EP.
"Shake Shake" is a triple-A-side-single. Three timid, precious (so called) indietronica hits to shake your heart to. Sloppy but to the point. Professionally amateurish.
For fans of The Notwist, Mùm and Hood. For fans of giant sea monsters. For fans of baby mammals.
Miss Ueki sound like mice.
